The club newsletter is called Spinnaker Sheet and around 3 editions are produced per year.
We are located within the RYA Eastern Region and receive their newsletter.
We are affiliated to the Beds & Cambs area association which represents sailing interests our local area.

Laser Open 2009 - Sunday 20 September
Prize Giving 2009 - Sunday 7th June
- Team racing, prize-giving, and barbeque.
In the morning we have team racing, then lunch followed by the prize giving and a family fun-day.
Lunch is to be provided free provided you have booked a place, so please let Michael Gearing know ASAP if you will be attending and and state whether vegetarian or carnivore!
Offshore cruising 2009
Working party 8th February cancelled
- Too much weather.
Still planning to hit the road on the 15th.

- Club maintenance working parties.
Start around 09:15, break for soup and rolls. Tasks this year are general maintenance (plus one day mending the access road - now set for the 15th).

- Bloody Mary 2008.
Queen Mary Sailing Club are hosting their 36th Bloody Mary event on Saturday, 10th January 2009. Queen Mary SC wrote to me saying that one member of our Club participated in our 2008 event and they would like to encourage more for the 2009 Bloody Mary. Here are the Poster and Notice of Race.

The club newsletter, Spinnaker sheet, is published 2 to 3 times a year.
It is issued by email and available for download from this site, but is also available in printed form on request. A limited number of printed copies are placed at the club house. We aim to minimise the volume of paper used.

Off-shore sailing
Rex Harvey organises off-shore cruises during the year. Here is the report and photos of one cruise in 2008. The photos are high-resolution and hence large - for this reason the report has been split into 3 files of around 8Mb each.
