Arlesey, Bedfordshire. SG15 6RS

About us

The club was formed in 1964 and is affiliated to the R.Y.A. It operates from the Blue Lagoon, Arlesey, Beds with some 25 acres of pleasantly situated water, previously the site of a chalk pit. Access is via a locked gate and track opposite the ‘Biggs Wall’ building on the southern outskirts of Arlesey - a village near the A507 between Shefford, Baldock and Hitchin.

The facilities include a Large Club House with galley, changing rooms and toilets, dinghy parks, jetty and OOD (Officer of the Day) hut. There is ample car parking, and a picnic area with a great view overlooking the lake.

We also have a number of club boats which can be used at no additional cost to members.

This is a small friendly club in which members all participate and enjoy themselves tremendously, whether cruising or racing (Wednesdays and Sundays) and the Saturday morning sailing, where we have experienced members on hand to help you get started.
